Make your Will written for free

We all want to make sure that our loved ones are taken care of in the future. By writing a Will, you can make sure that your money, property and possessions go to the people and causes that you care about. But it’s one of those things we often put off.

That’s why St Edward's has teamed up with Bequeathed to offer our supporters a free Will For Good.

Bequeathed is a free, convenient service that allows you to make the right Will for your needs in the way that suits you best, always with good legal advice. With Bequeathed you can make a start on your Will For Good immediately. Just go online any time that suits you, register and complete the online Will interview.

You can get started straight away by visiting www.bequeathed.org/stedwardsoxford:

1. Complete the online Will interview, with support and guidance available throughout the process.

2. Receive automated legal advice in the form of recommendations, and sometimes requirements, from Bequeathed’s Solicitor.

3. Book a legal appointment to discuss any of these in more detail. Or, if a free basic Will is suitable for you, choose the convenience of receiving it without an appointment.

4. Receive your Will with a Letter of Advice summarising the advice you’ve been given, along with instructions on signing and witnessing your Will correctly.

This free service will be available by the 5th September 2024, so sign up soon and don’t miss out.

In preparing your will we would hope that you would feel it appropriate to include an amount under the charities section to St Edward’s which would not only help us but also help you reduce inheritance tax!  Please visit: Tax Benefits | Beyond Teddies - St Edward's School (stedwardsoxford.org)

“I have used Bequeathed to finalise my Will. The process is extremely efficient and easy to understand. I would urge other OSE to take advantage of this wonderful free service.”

James Synge (Sing’s, 1964-1969)
