Teddies welcomed pupils from eight local north Oxford Primary and Prep Schools to compete in a cross-country event. Despite a deluge of rain and a great deal of mud underfoot, the children were full of excitement and energy and did fantastically well, spurred on by parents and coaches, as well as Teddies staff. The schools had formed 35 teams in total, with four pupils in each. After a very soggy 45 minutes battling the increasingly muddy course, the pupils enjoyed snacks and drinks before a prize giving with the Warden, with trophies for the winning schools in the categories of – U11 Boys (Summer Fields), U11 Girls (St Michael's), U10 Boys (Summer Fields) and U10 Girls (New Marston) – as well as a medal for each pupil taking part. Well done to all the pupils, as well as those who organised and supported this fantastic event.
